The 3 Biggest Lessons Learned in 2018

The 3 biggest lessons I had to learn this year was experienced by spiritual trial and error.

In all honesty, I experienced a ton of heartache, disappointment and let-downs in general, but in the end I developed an inner strength I wasn’t even aware that I had. I am stronger, wiser and better because of the lessons I’ve learned.

I have held expectations for people, places and things that didn’t meet them and some never intended to have my best interest in the first place.

I believed in promises that were never intended to be true.

But most of all, I trusted the opinion of others rather than believing in the inner wisdom of my Self.

With all the knowledge, education and certifications I have, my life experiences have been my greatest teacher.

I understand my journey required hard earned wisdoms, yet I still don’t regret any of the decisions I’ve made. Now that I know better, I can aim to be, see and do better.

On this journey, I’ve learned:

1. The lesson of forgiving things, people and places who weren’t apologetic, especially the ones who refused to see the error in their own ways was actually healing to me.

The power of forGIVEness isn’t for someone else, but to bring peace, liberation and freedom to your own soul.

This year, I experienced heartbreak that resulted in broken engagements. I had to withdraw my loyalty to some of my favorite places of business. I even had to cut off unhealthy friendships that nolonger served purpose in my life. I learned that instead of getting angry or upset, it’s best to just let it go. Holding onto the pain of failed expectations, ends up only hurting yourself. My process of release was to free myself. The universal karmic lesson will be free to serve it’s purpose on it’s own for my greater good.

2. There is power in trusting your own intuition above anything else. If you don’t, you must also understand there are consequences to your inaction. To disobey your intuition is to create an act of violence on oneself. Trust comes from within. Believe in your Self.

Your intuition is what guides you. It’s the built-in spiritual GPS that GOD (Grandmaster Of Design) created to help internally guide you on the journey of life. When you don’t follow those instructions (the little whispers of protection) then in result you’ll find yourself lost, confused or put into hurt & harms way. But even if you get off track, Spirit will never leave or forsake you. Spirit will be standing there awaiting your return with one question “what did you learn?” After you pass the test, it becomes your TESTimony as you move on to the next level.

3. You are deserving of everything you need and more. Trust a person’s character more than the union compatibility; no matter how much you love and care for someone or something that doesn’t mean you’re meant to be in a person’s life. Just because the vision and mission aligns, doesn’t mean it will be a divine alignment on your end. When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time. When you attach yourself to toxic people and situations, it drains you and distracts you from your purpose. Don’t let anyone guilt you into believing you are not worthy of all that you deserve. If they aren’t loyal, honest, trustworthy or committed to considering your emotions & loving you the way that’s required then don’t be afraid to sever ties. You are worthy of the best & more.
